This May, EVERAU was proud to take part in two distinct shows at Australian Fashion Week 2025—where comfort met creativity, and quiet luxury took the spotlight.
In collaboration with NAGNATA and Alix Higgins, we explored what fashion could look and feel like when rooted in ease and driven by intention—a manifesto for slow living, for radical comfort, for sustainable luxury.
It was a moment where heritage craftsmanship collided with avant-garde vision—resulting in bespoke designs that celebrated both authenticity and innovation.
While the spotlight shone on the runway, something quieter—but just as meaningful—was unfolding behind the scenes.
In the middle of pre-show chaos, models slipped into EVERAU’s signature Croft slides—barefoot relief wrapped in soft A-grade Merino wool. No noise, no branding—just a moment of stillness.

The result? A limited-edition Croft collection—revived from repurposed trims, reimagined through NAGNATA’s refined aesthetic. This was comfort made conscious.

This partnership felt natural. EVERAU and NAGNATA speak the same language—of movement, ease, and grounded design. Both brands embrace a slower, more intentional rhythm that reflects Australia’s coast-inspired lifestyle.
Because for us, footwear isn’t just about how it looks—it’s about what it allows you to feel: calm, confident, at home.
On Day 2, EVERAU took the runway in a new direction—partnering with designer Alix Higgins, the poetic disruptor of Australia’s new-gen fashion scene.
For the first time, Higgins’ digital-verse met EVERAU’s earthy textures. Together, they crafted three custom pieces:
• Madison
• Teddycozy
• Maeve
Each pair appeared in a grounded clay brown, echoing the tones of the Australian landscape. Adding a personal layer to the collection, Higgins collaborated with his close friend and creative partner Chloé Corkran, who hand-painted white tulip motifs on select pairs—a subtle tribute to their shared Dutch heritage.
“Working with EVERAU has opened up a new space for me to explore footwear, something I haven’t done before. It’s been a truly collaborative experience, being able to customise the pairs ensures the designs remain true to my brand and vision. They’re not just accessories on the runway; they’ve become a key part of how I communicate the story of this collection.
One of my favourite elements is the hand painting by my friend and close collaborator, Chloé Corkran, who painted the shoes white with tulips to resemble clogs. A celebration of our shared Dutch heritage.”

From barefoot runways to sculptural ugg boots, EVERAU helped translate his vision from fabric to foot—without losing an ounce of weightlessness or soul.
The creative alignment was undeniable. Alix brings emotion, ambiguity, and digital expression; EVERAU brings comfort, tactility, and nostalgia.
Together, the collaboration became more than just product—it became a dialogue between future and familiarity, poetry and practicality. A quiet tribute to identity, place, and personal storytelling.
EVERAU’s presence at AFW wasn’t just about what was worn—it was about what was felt.
Both collaborations showcased what happens when local heritage meets progressive design. With Australian Merino wool at the core, EVERAU continues to stand for natural comfort, long-wear craftsmanship, and freedom of self-expression.
This season proved:
